Rumours around Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone, expected to be called the Mi 5, are once again making the rounds of the Internet.

Mi Band: Feature-packed @ just Rs.999

mi band
Two days back Xiaomi introduced its two new products in the Indian market- Xiaomi Mi 4i and the Mi Band. The Mi 4i was a new flagship smartphone from the company for all of its Global Smartphone markets while the Mi Band was already introduced in China and finally came to India.

Coming to Mi Band, its super light in weight and super economical on your pocket. Some of the cool features of Mi Band are-

Keeps a track of your Sleep and Fitness

The first and foremost feature of the device is its ability to track the duration of your sleep. That too in a whole lot of detailed manner – Deep Sleep duration, Light Sleep Duration, Sleep time, Wake up time and etc.
On the other hand the fitness tracker lets you set a goal as per your wish, which is at an average 8000 steps/5.2 km daily. It gives you the complete out-break of the info. describing the amount of estimated calorie burnt, your workout time, the time you run instead of walking, distance of your running and walking etc.

 Smart-Alarm

Are you always getting annoyed with your regular Alarm clock?
Does it makes a lot of annoying loud noise in the morning to wake you up?
Is there any other way you could use to wake up on time without spoiling your sleep?
Yes, the Mi Band is for you. It features a Smart-Alarm feature, which makes your Band vibrate in your hand on the set Alarm time and gently wakes you up. There’s even a 30 minutes earlier option which allows you to wake up even before the alarm actually go’s out by giving mild vibrates at regular intervals 30 minutes prior to the set time.

Never miss a Call/Notification

Sometimes it happens that you miss a call/notification either due to you are some where in a noisy place or maybe because your phone is on silent mode. Well now no more, the next feature of the Mi Band allows you to notify you by giving vibrations in your band whenever a call or notification comes up. You could even double-tap the vibration area to silence it, in case you are in a meeting or do not wish to entertain the call.

Unlock your phone/tablet without a password

Well you have set a password/pattern lock to secure your device from someone else. But for sure you might get annoyed unlocking it all the time by drawing tricky patterns or entering a password. Then in that case the Mi Band again helps you- If you have a device running on MIUI 6 or Android 5.0 Lollipop then you could just swipe the lock screen button whereas when someone else will have to access your device then they will face the pattern lock/password.

30 days+ of Long Lasting Battery

The Mi band is not only feature packed but its extremely power efficient too. On a single full-charge you could use your Mi Band for a duration longer than 30 days. We have reviewed the device and found this really working as on every 2nd day your battery drains just 1-2%.

Water-Resistant

The Mi band is water resistant as because its IP67 certified so no need to take it off even while having a shower.
Overall we found the device extremely feature packed, the strap skin friendly and excessively light on pocket as it will come for just Rs.999 , whereas the other smart-Bands in the market are selling for 5-10 times higher prices.
The first registration for the Mi Band will start on 28th April on mi.com and the special offer price for 1st 1000 registration is Rs.1.
So go ahead buy it and share your reviews and comments with us below in the comments section.

miui6
Finally after a really long wait of months the Redmi 1s users are getting an OS update. Yes, You heard it right Xiaomi Redmi 1s is getting the MIUI 6 update but just a second, its still not the stable update. Xiaomi Global has just released the Beta Version.
Don’t know what Beta Version is? Read it belowThe beta version is actually a trial version, which is tested on the usage of the initial users (i.e. prior to the release of the Stable version) who update this version and share their problems faced using that version and  then it is updated every 1-2 weeks, and may have some unresolved bugs because it is a work-in-progress that constantly updates.
Earlier Xiaomi practiced this only in China but, Now the company is bringing this approach to its global markets. The MIUI team seems very excited announcing the MIUI 6 global beta build for the Redmi 1S, and will be providing regular updates roughly every 2 weeks, in reference to the feedback Xiaomi gathers from Mi Fans in the forums.

Xiaomi Mi 4i, Mi Band to Open a New Chapter for Mi.com in India

Mi4i And Mi Band In India

Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 4i smartphone in New Delhi on Thursday, in what was the company's first major launch event outside of its homeland China. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 12,999, the same price range as the Mi 3 that made Xiaomi a smash hit on its India debut last July.
The event was attended by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun with Vice President Xiaomi Global, Hugo Barra, introducing the brand new Mi 4i in front of hundreds of screaming Mi fans as well as Xiaomi partners and media from all across the globe. Registrations for the first sale of the Mi 4i have already begun on Flipkart, with the phone scheduled to become available on April 30. However, there's a slight twist in the tale as far as availability of the device is concerned.Once the Flipkart exclusive period is over - no word on how long that will last - not only will the Mi 4i be available via Xiaomi's other online partners like Snapdeal and Amazon, as well as offline partners like Airtel and The Mobile Store, in a first for the country, the Xiaomi Mi 4i will also be available directly from Xiaomi's online store Mi.com.
So far, Xiaomi India has been selling only accessories via Mi.com, though it had dropped several hints in the past it will soon start selling phones directly as well. The other product launched in the country in India - the Mi Band - will in fact be sold exclusively via Mi.com. Priced at Rs. 999, the fitness tracking band will go up for registrations on Tuesday, and the first 1,000 registrants will get the band at Re. 1.

First official Xiaomi Mi 4i camera samples appear, look impressive

Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi announced its brand new handset – the Mi 4i. Most of us expected it to be a more-affordable version of the Mi 4 and thus, not exactly a big deal, but the impressive device seems to have no intention of sitting in its sibling’s shadow and looks to be destined for an impressive career of its own.
