Meizu m2 note has leaked quite a few times throughout the past few months. The smartphone, which is also known as Meizu m1 note 2 and Meizu note 2, leaked via an official promo and some blurry shots last month.
Today the Meizu m2 note was spotted in the popular GFX Benchmark's database, though the specs page is already gone. Still, lots of people managed to take some shots and we can tell you more about the upcoming device. Online retailer confirms June 2nd introduction of the Meizu m1 note 2

Online retailer confirms June 2nd introduction of the Meizu m1 note 2
On Monday, we showed you an image of what appears to be the Meizu m1 note 2, the sequel to the company's Meizu m1 note.
We could see that the image was not showing the current model because of the new placement of the power button, which is now located under the volume rocker. The m1 note has the power button at the top of the phone where it is a stretch due to the 5.5-inch screen on the device.
While Meizu earlier announced that it was holding a media event on June 2nd, the idea that the manufacturer would introduce a sequel to the m1 note at that time was speculation. But now, a June 2nd unveiling of the m1 note 2 has been confirmed by online retailer JD.com. The latter said on its Weibo page that the handset would be unveiled on that date. By the way, the oval shaped fingerprint scanner that appeared on images of the phone is now expected to be just an oval shaped home button.

Meizu is also expected to introduce four new accessories on June 2nd. They include a power bank, a fan, a router and a smart band. With June 2nd right around the corner, more leaks are possible, so feel free to keep checking in!

Meizu M1 Note 2 leaks in live image ahead of June 2 unveiling

Earlier this month a rumor claimed Meizu would unveil the M1 Note 2 (or M2 Note) on June 2. And now the Chinese smartphone maker has actually scheduled an event for that date, so it looks like the successor to the M1 Note may get official sooner rather than later.
The M1 Note itself is barely a few months old at this point, and it will only go on sale in India on May 20, but for whatever reason Meizu is already working on a refreshed model. This has allegedly been caught in the live image you can see below (where the yet-unannounced handset is on the left, sitting next to a Meizu Mx4 Pro).

Meizu Teams Up With Beyerdynamic To Deliver A High-Quality Pair Of Headphones

Meizu has enriched its product portfolio today with its first high-end stereo headset. It comes courtesy of German audio company Beyerdynamic and should deliver superb audio quality, worthy of the Meizu MX4 Pro.
Meizu Teams Up With Beyerdynamic To Deliver A High-Quality Pair Of Headphones
The flagship smartphone in question boats impressive HIFI audio and a dedicated audio processor but the Chinese manufacturer didn’t really have the proper earphones to deliver the said quality in a complete package. This is where Beyerdynamic comes in. The new headphones have a gold finish, quite similar to the Meizu MX4 Pro itself. As a matter of fact, Meizu currently only sells the headset in a limited bundle with the aforementioned smartphone.

Both devices bear a dual branding – Meizu and Beyerdynamic, hinting that the partnership might be more than a one-time thing and actually grow into a whole line of HIFI equipment. Currently, the bundle can be picked up from Meizu’s official store in China, but it does come at a premium. The price tag is CNY 3699 ($600/€560), which is the company’s most expensive product to date.
There is still no word on whether Meizu plans to offer the headset or, perhaps, another high-end model separately. Meizu is collaborating with AKG for another set of high-quality headphones.

Smartphone makers partnering with headphones making companies is no new trend and as you might remember recently Meizu joined it – shaking hands with AKG Acoustics teams.

Meizu Headed To India And Flyme 5 Spotted On The MX4 Pro

Meizu Headed To India And Flyme 5 Spotted On The MX4 Pro
If you are a fan of Meizu then we have some great news in the form of new OS updates and a new launch destination.Over on Facebook Meizu have started work on their official Meizu India page and are already building a fan base in preparation to launch their Flyme equipped smartphones in the hugely demanding smartphone market. As you well already know Meizu aren’t the first Chinese phone maker to enter India, and will in fact follow Xiaomi, Gionee, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo to the market. Which models Meizu will launch in India hasn’t been announced but we feel fairly confident that the Meizu M1 Note could be one of the first.

For those of you who already have a Meizu MX4 Pro then you will like this next piece of news. Over on Weibo in China, a leaked image of the flagship Meizu phone has been posted revealing the device to be running Flyme 5.0 based on Android Lollipop. Meizu are currently developing their latest version of Flyme around Android 5.0.1, but future updates are expected.
So good new for Meizu fans in India and owners of the Meizu MX4 Pro, but what if you have the Meizu MX4? Again the mid-range MT6595 phone seems to be lagging behind in the update cycle, a huge shame for such a powerful and competent device.

Android 5.0.1 Lollipop For Meizu MX4 Pro Steps Closer

Android 5 Lollipop is still missing from Meizu’s range of current devices, but new screenshots confirm that at least the MX4 Pro is being ran on 5.0.1 in China.
Android 5.0.1 Lollipop For Meizu MX4
The leaked screenshot comes form an Antutu V5.7 benchmark ran on a Meizu MX4 Pro running an unreleased version of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for the phone. Only the ‘details’ screenshot has been released so we don’t know how well optimised the system is.
Last month a Flyme roadmap was released confirming when each current Meizu phone would expect to receive a Lollipop update.

Meizu Ready To Launch A Set Of Quality Headphones Made By AKG?

Meizu are heading back to their roots and teasing that they could be ready to release a pair of high-end headphones.Meizu started off as an MP3 player maker and prided itself on high quality audio products. We’ve seen Meizu take a few nods to their past with their phones which have all boasted audio HIFI components (bar the M1 line) culminating in the launch of the Meizu MX4 Pro.
Meizu are obviously eager for MX4 Pro owners to make the most of the audio performance, but don’t really want customers to have to revert to headphones made by other manufacturers which might explain this teaser photo.
