OnePlus is continuing its teaser campaign in the run up to the launch of the OnePlus 2. After revealing details about the chipset and pricing, now the company has revealed yet another significant specification.
OnePlus tweets on their twitter account.

"The will be the first flagship to use Type C USB. We want to lead the way in power connectivity."

The OnePlus 2 will be among the first smartphones to boast a USB Type-C port. The company says it wants to “lead the way in power connectivity,” and hence has made this choice. Though Chinese manufacturer LeTV’s One Max holds the crown for the first-ever smartphone boasting USB Type-C port, the OnePlus 2 will be the first USB C-totting smartphone from a mainstream company.
The USB Type-C port was first seen on Apple’s new MacBook, as well as Google’s Chromebook Pixel 2. Its advantages include being reversible like Apple’s Lightning cable, data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps, can deliver up to 100w of power, and is one port for all kinds of functions. Lastly, it is tiny so it can help companies make ultra-slim devices.
OnePlus has already revealed that the OnePlus 2 will be powered by an improved version of Snapdragon 810 chipset, and will be priced upwards of $322 (Rs 20,540 approximately).
From what we have heard so far, it could flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and on the software front, Android 5.1 Lollipop (wrapped under Oxygen OS in India/Hydrogen OS in China) out-of-the-box. While there is still no word on a launch date, reports generating out of China claim that the OnePlus 2 could be launched as early as next
