Meizu M2 Note Is Now Available For Purchase In China

Meizu has been making waves in the Chinese market for quite some time now. This China-based smartphone OEM has released a couple of really solid smartphones last year, and has managed to increase their profits substantially. The company is looking to improve upon their results in 2015, and has introduced two devices this year, the mid-range Meizu M1 and Meizu M2 Note handsets.

The M2 Note handset was revealed quite recently, and is a successor to the M1 Note smartphone which was launched at the end of last year.
According to some official info, the company has received over 10 million reservations for the M2 Note, which si quite a substantial number. It has been a week since M2 Note launched, and is now listed on Jingdong Mall, one of China’s biggest retailers. Consumers will be able to participate in the first flash sale in order to purchase this handset. The M2 Note is even more affordable than its predecessor was when it launched, it is priced at only 799 Yuan at the moment.
The Meizu M2 Note sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IGZO fully laminated display, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 or 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.3GHz, and a Mali-T720 MP3 GPU for graphics processing. On the back of this handset, you’ll find a 13-megapixel snapper, and a dual-LED, dual tone flash below the sensor itself. The 5-megapixel snapper is available up front, and this handset ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed with the company’s Flyme UI 4.5 on top of it. The 3,100mAh battery is also a part of this package, and this handset also offers dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Meizu M2 Note resembles its predecessor a whole lot, but it has a physical home button below the display this time around. The phone is available in a number of color options: Blue, Rose, White and Gray. The 16GB model is priced at 799 Yuan ($129), while the 32GB model costs 999 Yuan ($161).
