OPPO India launches N3 camera-centric smartphone at Rs 42,990

Aiming to tab photography lovers, OPPO India has launched N3, their camera-centric smartphone.

The phone features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080x1920) display with a pixel density of 403 ppi.


As is the USP of the phone, it has a motorized 16MP 206-degree swiveling camera that can rotate back to front, working in tandem with an onboard photo processing suite called PI 2.0+.

Features such as multiple exposure and a super-sampling technique that can combine several low-resolution RAW images into an higher resolution picture, up to 64MP makes the phone a great choice for amatuer photographers. The camera comprises a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens with a pixel size of 1.34 micron and integrates 5 optical elements for better light-capturing ability.

The camera’s photo suite ostensibly consists of a database of thousands of common photography scenarios that is used to construct a matching library that features more than a hundred unique photography functions.
