If you are a regular user of the mail service from Google which we
all are in this era, you may find yourself stuck with hundreds of
messages that you'll probably never read but that you don't want to
throw out.
How To Archive Messages In Your Gmail Account In Bulk
Here's what you can do. You can archive all those messages at once and
clear your inbox.
The promotions tab can help you out in doing this. Most of the time the
things you'll find in this tab are what is known as "bacn." Bacn
messages are from sources you've honestly signed up to receive but
probably aren't that high of a priority to actually read.

Things like deals of the day and newsletters would fall under this
category. Bacn is different from spam, in that spam messages are just
junk and things you haven't signed up to receive.
Follow the images below and turn your Gmail Account into a much more
organised space.
Step 1
Check the box next to a msg or check all boxes at once, this is simple.
Make sure that you are selecting the promotion messages only.
Step 2
Once you check the box that selects all the visible messages, you will
also see a note from Google that lets you select all the messages in
that tab. In this case, we're using the promotions tab. Select the link.
You'll get a note saying you can unselect it and just the visible
messages, but in this case, you want all of them. You are soon to be rid
of 500 bacn messages.
Step 3
This is it. Click on the archive button. You'll get a confirmation
window asking you if you're sure you want to archive. Agree to the
request and you're good to go.
