Intex has launched a new Aqua-series smartphone, the Aqua Slice II. Priced at Rs. 5,999, the new Intex smartphone is now listed on the company website. As of now, there is no word about the availability of the handset; though we can expect the handset to go on sale soon.
The Intex Aqua Slice II is a dual-SIM (3G+2G) smartphone which runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The rear camera features scene detection, face recognition, Panorama, geo tagging, Best shot, Smile shot, and HDR options.

It measures 141x71.9x8mm; weighs 97 grams, and is listed in Black, Blue, and White colours.
Recently, Intex in partnership with Microsoft announced it would provide 50GB of cloud storage space for two years via OneDrive in its smartphones sold in India.
A new Intex Cloud-series smartphone, the Cloud V, went on sale via an e-commerce website priced at Rs. 3,999.

Intex, after launching the 4G-enabled Aqua 4G+, Aqua Trend, and Cloud 4G Star smartphones, has now launched the Aqua Turbo 4G in India. Priced at Rs. 7,444, the smartphone will be available to buy via retail and online stores.
Apart from 4G LTE connectivity, the highlight of the smartphone is it packs a 3000mAh battery. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Intex Aqua Turbo 4G features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Intex Aqua Turbo 4G comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, with storage expandability via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi with hotspot functionality, GPS, EDGE/ GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It measures 144.5x72.5x8.9mm and weighs 150 grams.
The Aqua Turbo 4G also features HotKnot file transfer technology, which is similar to near field communications (NFC) in terms of application.

The company lists that the smartphone will come with bundled data offer from Tata Docomo offering up to 1GB 2G/ 3G data for first month.

Other specifications include a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support via microSD (up to 32GB); 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash; 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2300mAh battery.

Intex Aqua Trend With 4G Support, Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 9,444

Intex has launched its second 4G-enabled smartphone, the Aqua Trend, priced at Rs. 9,444. It will be available via online and offline retailers in India. The company back in June launched the Aqua 4G+ at Rs. 9,499, as its first 4G smartphone in the country.
The domestic manufacturer says the Intex Aqua Trend supports 4G LTE in India, but has yet to detail network support. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and offers dual-SIM cards.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. The handset supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Apart from 4G LTE, other connectivity options on the Aqua Trend include Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. The handset measures 144.5x72.5x8.9mm and weighs 152 grams. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The Aqua Trend smartphone also features HotKnot file transfer technology, which is similar to near field communications (NFC) in terms of application. The company is also offering a 1-year screen breakage warranty with the new handset. It comes with a complementary flip cover and will be available in Champagne, Silver, Gray and Black colours.
The domestic handset manufacturer also revealed plans to invest Rs. 300 crores towards promotional programmes of its mobile phones and other products, aiming to double revenues to Rs. 8,000 crores this fiscal. Intex also announced Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu as its brand ambassador for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Intex earlier on Monday also launched the Cloud Q5 smartphone, priced at Rs. 4,490. The new Intex Cloud Q5 will be sold exclusively on eBay India. The domestic handset maker alongside also launched a new variant of its Aqua Star II smartphone with twice the inbuilt storage and RAM, as well as a better front-facing camera, priced at Rs. 7,444.

Intex has launched the Aqua Y2 Power smartphone, listing it on its website at a price of Rs. 4,490. There is no official word on the availability of the Intex Aqua Y2 Power, though the company can be expected to make an announcement on the same in the coming days.
The Aqua Y2 Power smartphone packs 2900mAh battery, a highlight of the device at this price point. Intex, earlier this year, has already launched the Cloud Power+ andAqua Power+ smartphone featuring a large 4000mAh battery. At this price point, the Aqua Y2 Power will be competing against the likes of the Micromax Canvas Juice 2, featuring 3000mAh battery and priced at Rs. 8,999, and Lava Iris Fuel 50, packing 3000mAh battery and priced at Rs. 7,799.

According to the company listing, the Aqua Y2 Power can deliver up to 20 hours of talk time, and up to 500 hours of standby time. It measures 126x64x10.5mm; weighs 133 grams, and will be available in Black, Blue, and White colours.

Intex has unveiled its latest product in India, the 2111-FHD television, at a price of Rs. 9,990. The 21-inch television features a full-HD (1920x1080 pixel) resolution display. The 21-inch size was once amongst the most popular television sizes in India, and Intex will be hoping to popularise it again with its impressive specification sheet.
The standout feature of the Intex is its full-HD resolution, which promises to offer more detail and a sharper picture, despite the small dimensions. It's also light and easy to handle, with a net weight of just 2.4kg. The TV also features a 16.7 million colour display, two 3W speakers, a response time of 5ms and a wall-mounting kit included in the box. The TV also features Eye Safe-T, which offers better response times, smoother motion and a viewing experience designed to be easy on your eyes.
Speaking at the launch, Nidhi Markanday, Business Head, Consumer Durables & IT Accessories for Intex said, "Intex Technologies has always aimed at providing customers more than satisfaction. Intex has not specified exactly how many HDMI and USB inputs the TV has, and the TV has not yet been listed on the company's website at the time of writing. The TV also has an odd 16:7 aspect ratio, which may lead to a picture surrounded by black bars or at worst, stretched, as most video content uses 4:3, 16:9 or 21:9 aspect ratios.
The Intex 2111-FHD will be available for Rs. 9,990, and is the Indian brand's cheapest full-HD television set. Intex has also launched 42-inch and 50-inch full-HD TVs this year.

Intex Aqua A2, Aqua Y2 Ultra Budget Dual-SIM Android Smartphones Launched

Intex, soon after launching the Aqua Q5 smartphone, has now launched the Aqua A2 (seen above) and Aqua Y2 Ultra (seen below), priced at Rs. 4,350 and Rs. 4,490 respectively.
The company has listed both the new Intex Aqua-series smartphones on its website; however, there is no official word yet about the availability of these handsets. The official listing of the Aqua A2 also lists free 1GB data for 30 days on Tata Docomo.
Both the Intex Aqua A2 and Intex Aqua Y2 Ultra smartphones share some common specifications. Both the Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphones come with dual-SIM support and feature 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) displays. Both pack 5-megapixel rear cameras and a 0.3-megapixel front camera.
Both the new budget smartphones also support 3G connectivity, one of the highlights of the handsets at the price point. Apart from 3G, other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Both the smartphones feature 8GB of inbuilt storage and support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).


There are few differences however, such as the Aqua A2 being backed by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM, while the Aqua Y2 Ultra is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Aqua A2 is backed by a 1500mAh battery while the Aqua Y2 Ultra packs a 1400mAh battery.
The Aqua A2 measures 124.5x64x11.7mm, and will be available in Black, and Blue colours. The Aqua Y2 Ultra, on the other hand, will be available in Black, Blue, Champagne, and White colour variants while it measures 124.8x63.1x9.95mm.
Earlier this month, Intex launched the Aqua Q5, listing it on its site at a price of Rs. 5,090. The domestic handset maker also launched the Aqua Y4 at Rs. 4,190.

The company touts that the smartphone's 2-megapixel front camera is the 'best selfie camera' in the sub-Rs. 5,000-segment.
The Intex Aqua Y4 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572X) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
The Aqua Y4 bears 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The handset's 'volume up and down' key allows users to click images.
On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Y4 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 1700mAh battery. It measures 136x67.5x8.7mm and will be available in White, Black, Champagne and Silver colours. Some of the preloaded apps on the handset include Ask Me, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, Start, Intex service, and Opera Mini.
