HTC Launches Desire 728G With Dolby Audio At Rs 17,990

HTC has recently launched a new smartphone in its ‘Desire’ series dubbed as the 728G which comes with dual SIM compatibility.
The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 17,990 and also features a 5.5 inch HD screen while it is being powered by an octac ore MediaTek 64 bit processor.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 2 TB via microSD card.
The camera section comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera, both capable of recording 1080p quality video.
Along with this, the smartphone comes with HTC Boom Sound, dual front-facing stereo speakers and Dolby Audio giving the customer the best musical experience.
The smartphone is also equipped with a 2,800 mAh battery and is said to be available in Purple Myst and White Luxury color schemes.
Having said this, the smartphone will likely be a turn off for the smartphone users as it lacks the 4G connectivity support, while the 4G support now comes in phones which come under Rs 5,000 price tag too.
However, we may have to wait and watch how would the smartphone play in the market filled with 4G smartphones.

HTC has silently launched new smartphone in its Desire-series in China, named HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM. The smartphone is up for pre-orders and is expected to start shipping by mid-September. The firm has not yet revealed the price of the dual-SIM handset.
The HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense and features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display like the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM, which was launched in July. It packs the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but a 5-megapixel secondary front-facing camera instead of an 8-megapixel one. Also, the handset is powered by a slightly less powerful octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC (clocked at 1.3GHz) and 2GB of RAM.

The 16GB inbuilt storage on the Desire 728 Dual SIM is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Micro-USB and 4G LTE TDD connectivity with support for Indian networks. According to the official listing of the HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM, the handset is backed by a 2800mAh battery that can offer up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 485 hours of standby time in 3G. It measures 157.9x77.84x7.87mm and weighs around 153 grams.
Much like other recently launched HTC smartphones, the Desire 728 Dual SIM features HTC BoomSound technology, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.
HTC has been lately trying to shift its focus more towards mid-range smartphone market by launching several handsets under its Desire series. The firm besides the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM, also launched the Desire 520, Desire 526, Desire 626 (US version), and Desire 626s in the US in July.

HTC has launched the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM in India, a smartphone that was launched in the Taiwanese manufacturer's home country back in early-June. It has been priced at Rs. 19,990 (MOP), and will be available in Santorini White, Saffron Grey, and Milky Way Grey colour variants.
The HTC Desire 820G+ Dual SIM runs Android 4.4 KitKat and features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel secondary front-facing camera, just like the HTC Desire 820. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 SoC (clocked at 1.7GHz) coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The 16GB inbuilt storage on the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G and Micro-USB. According to the official listing of the HTC Desire 820G+ Dual SIM, the smartphone doesn't feature 4G connectivity support. The handset is backed by a 2600mAh battery that can offer up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 560 hours of standby time. It measures 157.7x78.74x7.74mm and weighs around 155 grams.
Much like other recently launched HTC smartphones, the Desire 820G+ Dual SIM supports HTC DotView cases.

After launching its high-end smartphone, the One ME Dual SIM, in China earlier this month, HTC on Wednesday launched the smartphone in India at Rs. 40,500. The smartphone would hit the shelves by the end of this month in Meteor Grey and Classic Rose Gold colour variants.
HTC One ME Dual SIM's claim to fame is the 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor, which was launched during MWC 2015 in March. The handset also appears to be the first smartphone announced to be powered by the Helio X10 processor. The SoC features eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and is clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution display and runs HTC Sense 7 UI on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone, like the flagship HTC One M9, comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 2TB).
As for the camera, the One ME Dual SIM features a 20-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture, and 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The handset also comes with a fingerprint sensor besides an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, digital compass, and gyroscope.
The 4G-enabled HTC One ME Dual SIM also includes NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, DLNA, and Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity. As with most of the HTC smartphones, the handset features HTC BoomSound dual-front speakers powered by Dolby Audio.
Measuring 150.99×71.99×9.75mm and weighing 155 grams, the HTC One ME Dual SIM is backed by a 2840mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 23.3 hours of talk time and 598 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

HTC One M9+ and E9+ Now Available For Purchase In US

Although not officially, the HTC One M9+ and One E9+ - which were unveiled in China in April and March this year, respectively - are now available for purchase in the US.

Both are available on Amazon. As for the price, while the One M9+ carries a tag of $799, the One E9+ will set you back $499. The former is available in gunmetal grey and silver gold, and the latter is available in grey and rose white colour options.
Its worth mentioning that One M9+ and E9+ are the company's first Quad HD phones. Both run Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
